I don’t know how many times this has to be repeated, but I’ll say it anyway:
- Mikasa Ackerman is one of the protagonists of the manga. She’s not unimportant. She is ten times more important than whatever glorified male character you drool over. She is integral to the plot.
- Mikasa Ackerman is not someone who only cares about Eren. I see people who like eremika that reduce her to Eren as if she cares about no one else and I see ereri fans that hate on her for “getting in the way” of their ship. Fucking stop. Stop making her character about non-canon romantic ships for god’s sake. She’s not a ship tool.
- Mikasa Ackerman would die for Eren and Armin. They are her family and her top priority, so stop erasing Armin and Mikasa’s bond. The narrative has shown that they immensely care for each other time and time again, and you’re blind and ignorant if you willfully choose to demean that. Furthermore, it’s called the Shiganshina trio. It’s not called that if you only want to pay attention to Eren and Armin’s bond or Eren and Mikasa’s bond - it’s a trio because all three of them grew up together, all three of them have gone through the same things together, all three of them have grown beautifully together, all three of the love each other, all three of them are family, and all three of them would die for each other. It’s an equal, balanced relationship, because each individual duo in the trio cares for each other, whether that’s Eren and Mikasa, Eren and Armin, or Armin and Mikasa.
- I could give less of a fuck if you hate Mikasa lmao because I can’t be held responsible for people’s poor taste. But stop fucking tagging your goddamn fucking hate toward her. This tag is for people who like her and fans of her like me. You can post whatever you want but have the courtesy to respect fans who like her for fuck’s sake. Y’all wouldn’t like it if I went into your fave male character’s tags to hate on them right? :)
- Stop blaming Mikasa for every little thing she does. Y’all hate on her for being strong and call her a mary sue but then turn around and hate on her when she makes a mistake or prioritizes her mission over saving lives. Y’all forget that like 90% of the current characters would be dead without her. And y’all forget that she is equally as strong as Levi, quite similar to him, and is humanity’s strongest alongside him.
- Some asshole had the audacity to say that they wished it was Mikasa who got burned by Bertholdt instead of Armin. To which I reply: 1) Armin would die for Mikasa; 2) Mikasa would die for Armin; 3) Armin would fucking hate you if you ever said that in front of him; 4) You’re fucking awful if you say shit like that.
Please stop tagging your hate of her. No one cares that you have shit taste but at the very least stop flooding her tag with this bullshit. Thanks. :)
